Rooted began with a simple belief:
When people feel safe, supported and connected, wellbeing happens naturally. For over a decade this work has been quietly unfolding across Oxfordshire, in village halls, homes, schools and shared spaces, bringing people together to slow down, reconnect and feel nourished.
Over time the roots grew deeper.
Now they have found a home in Burford.
Guided by The Rooted Way, our philosophy of slower, more intentional living, Rooted brings together therapies, movement, mentoring and gathering in a shared space for connection, care and belonging.
Rooted is not just somewhere you visit.
It’s a place to belong.

The Rooted Way is the philosophy that guides everything we do.It’s the belief that wellbeing grows through connection - to ourselves, to each other, and to the spaces where we gather.
In a world that often moves too quickly, Rooted offers something different.
A place to slow down.
A space to receive.
A rhythm that honours both rest and growth.
Here, therapies, movement and conversation sit alongside simple moments of connection, a cup of tea, a shared story, a quiet breath.
Because living well isn’t something we achieve alone.
It grows naturally when we feel supported, connected and part of something.
Lillie grew up surrounded by the warmth of small village life.
Her grandparents ran a family grocery and butcher’s shop, where neighbours knew each other by name and people would stop to talk, share stories and help one another.
Those early memories of connection and community stayed with her.
Years later, through working closely with clients, she saw how many people were longing for spaces where they could slow down, feel supported and simply be themselves.
Rooted is her way of carrying that feeling forward.
A place where people are welcomed, held with care, and feel part of something from the moment they arrive
